60 seconds with Patricia Eastwood Occupation: Acting Headteacher at Newbold School What is your favourite food? Chocolate - a big slab with no fruit or nuts - I call this a 'neat fix'. What is your favourite holiday destination? USA to visit my children and grandchildren - my son and his family live in California and my older daughter and her family live in Tennessee. What was your first pet? Our family dog Bobby - a Heinz variety but with the look of a small golden retriever. We lived out in the country and he was forever getting out and going off on his own. This stopped when he decided to visit the lady dog that belonged to the local police constable! What car do you drive? Nissan Micra - it hasn't got a lot of 'go' when you want to chase away at traffic lights - but a neat little zipper around town. Easy to park. Who would be your ideal dinner guest? Thierry Henry. I think he is an exemplary role model as a sports personality and I love the accent! What do you like the most about Bracknell? I haven't lived here long, but have settled in the Forest Park area because I love all the walks through the woods. The trees in the Bracknell area are really something special and I think a lot of care and attention is given to keeping all the public areas well looked after and very attractive. What was the last book that you read? Pride and Prejudice - for about the 10th time. What was the last film that you watched? Amazing Grace. having lived in Sierra Leone in West Africa I have always had a real interest in the Civil Rights movement and its development from the time of the slave trade until now. I admire the work of John Newton and William Wilberforce, along with others such as Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King. What is your biggest regret? That I didn't come to live in Bracknell sooner!
